Hbkl

I was born in hbkl. Recently quite delighted to hear announcement by the pm to upgrade the hosp as the premier hospital in malaysia, perhaps in southeast asia.

It's about time already as we can easily envy the properous KPJ hospitals - it's a plural n u'll understand if u had used jln genting klang recently- right across the street. Budgets were allocated for parking lots -apparently a major prob not only to visitor, but to the doctors and supporting staffs- research labs, labor rooms, vip suites etc. Gov also considers to reroute traffics within the hosp for coziness.

In my own view, theres a necessity to install escalators, or better, lifts on the pedestrian bridge crossing the chow kit road as one can observe the difficulty of elders, patients (esp. those with casts on limbs) to climb the bridge.

my other suggestion would be the existance of emergency bypass lanes for ambulance to cross back and forth jalan tunku abdul razak. Weve heard some cases where patients dying in ambulance as the van is on the attempt to make a u-turn.

p/s: How about equipping hbkl with several helicopters with trained pilots cum doctors/first aiders cum mechanics? Germany has these just for d auto-bahn.
